PAY AS YOU GO

A heads up for readers: I just got hit with a $400 phone bill from my old apartment, with the balance transferred to the new address. I paid $100, but if I don't pay the balance off ASAP, they're probably going to shut me off. (My car insurance is due, too, as well as car inspection and registration.)

This is really just a cash flow problem. My bills are manageable here, and I'll get paid again in two weeks, but that may not be soon enough to keep the DSL on.

I was just saying to my friend: That's the bitch when you've been unemployed for a long time - all the old stuff comes back to bite you in the ass. It's not as if you start working with a clean slate.

Anyway, if you'd like to see continuous blogging, please throw a little something in the tip jar. And if you don't especially care, well, I can always use a break.
