VOTE
I just came back after going to the local school to vote. The elderly Republican committeeman asked me if I wanted a sample ballot and I recoiled. "Oh, no. No, no, no," I said. "No Republicans." I went inside and voted for all the Howard Dean delegates (just to make sure Kerry remembers why he's there).

On the way out, the same gentleman told me to "have a nice day."

"Oh, I will. Just as soon as the Democrats are running the country," I said.

"I knew you were a Democrat," he said.

"Why? Because I'm intelligent and articulate?" I said.

"No, I just knew."
